"Yvonne and Barry Clent, with the help of generous volunteers and supporters, have been caring for unwanted, abandoned, sick and injured animals in the Miranda do Corvo area for almost 3 decades. Dogs, cats, donkeys, goats and sheep have all at certain times passed through the Cedar Centre’s doors. They have either been rehomed or spent their last days at the centre in comfort. "

Miranda Carboot

The Miranda do Corvo carboot takes place on the first Sunday of each month and is a primary funding source for the Centre. In the summer the market is outdoors in the gardens and in the winter it is indoors. See details using the link below.

Adopt a Rescue

"There are still ten dogs in the care of the Cedar centre, we are very hopeful that they may soon have their much longed for forever home. Although some are older dogs, they still have a lot of love to offer. Please see Adopt Us for more information and an introduction to the dogs. "
